Hi everyone, my name is Laith Dahiyat and I’m excited to publicly share that I am stepping in to lead Pingboard as CEO through its next phase of growth.
Bill Boebel, founder and now former CEO, will remain Chairman of the Board and an active advisor to the company.
Bill has led the company from zero to now, serving over 750,000 employees across 2,500 businesses worldwide. An amazing journey, and we believe the opportunity ahead is even bigger.
As the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the remote work trend, the need for our services has only grown, spurring 16 consecutive months of growth. We talk to People Ops leaders on a daily basis and hear their struggles in trying to search for better tools to help them retain and engage their workforce in this new world of remote work.
The team at Pingboard has been working on some very important developments to further help our customers retain and engage employees. We are investing heavily in the team and the product, and I can’t wait to showcase what we have coming soon to help build on the company’s success.
A brief bit about my professional background - I’ve spent most of my career leading product management teams at B2B SaaS and e-commerce companies. In the 1990s and 2000s I worked at AOL (remember dialing up?) and Network Solutions. More recently I served as the General Manager of Weedmaps, the largest software and data company focusing on the legal cannabis sector, and as Chief Strategy Officer of the popular SaaS billing platform Chargify.
